Main duties / Tätigkeitsschwerpunkte
The successful candidate ensures that revenue targets and business plans are met by maintaining and developing business relationships with the travel agents.
He/She has to monitor market trends and initiate global sales strategies in a timely manner in order to develop and implement effective sales and marketing initiatives/plans to maximize revenue. The Sales Manager role includes identifying new business opportunities and development of marketing strategies.
He/She provides over-all leadership on a strategic and commercial level for sales and other activities
He/She will evaluate fare proposals, conduct comprehensive studies and market research related to passenger pricing practices/distribution.
Qualifications / Qualifikationen
Applicants must have at least 10 years experience in all aspects of the airline sales environment or related industry. They should have a good track record of sales achievements and strategic planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English and high proficiency in PC-based applications are essential. Amadeus knowledge is of advantage.
