Air Cargo
-
BARIG member airlines are carrying about 4 million tons of freight via German airports every year. BARIG represents its airlines—including the world’s largest cargo carriers—in conferences and meetings to ensure more efficient collaboration with the relevant authorities and to optimize processes in the logistics sector.
The BARIG Air Cargo Committee is focused on mid- to long-term topics in cargo business development. The main points of discussion are the general enhancement of airport facilities, the regulations and updates in security, customs and the administrative framework. Furthermore, the BARIG committee is working closely with the 'Air Cargo Community Frankfurt e.V.' for jointly pushing efficiency and lean processes with all relevant authorities. The aim is to strengthen Germany's position on the international air transport market
Working material for past meetings of the BARIG Air Cargo Committee will be available in the closed member area after log-in at the menu point meeting schedule.
