BARIG enforces a national, forward-looking airport strategy with targeted investments to strengthen the important locations for passenger and cargo transportation. BARIG enforces a national, forward-looking airport strategy with targeted investments to strengthen the important locations for passenger and cargo transportation. Generally, tax subsidization of smaller airports has to be avoided.

Reliable operating hour regulations and a maximum of flexibility for the globally oriented aviation industry is a must, to be able to compete with the Near & Middle East countries as well as Asia and the United States. BARIG welcomes the fact that the coalition agreement by the current federal government announced an establishment of a nationwide aviation concept.
