Job description

PASSENGER TRAFFIC AGENT (m/f/d) at Japan Airlines

As Passenger Traffic Agent (m/f/d), you are responsible for ensuring smooth passenger handling, maintaining on-time performance, and managing flight-related documentation.

You will support Japan Airlines in achieving our business objectives by providing services to our customers. You will participate in the development and implementation of our operational policies and standards.

The position will initially be on a 18-month fixed term contract, with the prospect of permanent employment. Candidates should be willing to work in shifts (including weekends and must have the legal right to live and work in Germany.

Main duties

• Passenger service related duties at the airport:
- Check-in of passengers (issue boarding passes, acceptance of luggage, document check)
- Assist boarding at the gate, provide announcements
- Special attendance to passengers, e.g. company VIP, unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, transit assistance services

• Flight controlling
• Lost and Found
• Ticketing
• Prepare and complete pre and post flight documentation
• Related Administrative Work
• Participating in internal projects, collaborating with various departments

Required experience

  • English language
  • German language
  • Japanese language (desired)
  • experience in service sector (desired)
  • experience in passenger/client handling (desired)
  • experience using Amadeus Altéa Suite (desired)
  • computer skills
  • team oriented and flexible
  • highly service oriented
  • friendly and polite character
