Tunisair

  • Tunisair is the state-owned airline of Tunisia founded in 1948 in Tunis. The Tunisian national carrier belongs to the oldest and most important African airlines. Tunisair offers flights to 47 destinations in 28 countries all over Europe, the Middle East, North America as well as North and South Africa.

    On the German market, Tunisair is the number- one carrier between Germany and Tunisia, offering in the winter season 2018/2019 21 regular flights from Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Berlin to Tunis, Monastir and Djerba. In collaboration with other tour operators, Tunisair offers charter flights from different airports in Germany. The average traveling time for non-stop flights from Germany to Tunisia is 2h to 2,5h.

    In the summer season 2019, the airline with a red gazelle as the logo increases the flight program considerably. Tunisair offers daily flights to the capital Tunis. From the airport of Munich Tunisair operates three days a week to Tunis.

    On flights Frankfurt-Tunis and Tunis-Frankfurt, passengers enjoy an extra comfort and service in the Tunisair Business class.

    All divers and people playing gulf can enjoy an additional benefit: Tunisair does not charge extra fees for the gulf and diving baggage up to 23kg (in addition to the baggage allowance).

    In order to increase the climate awareness of airlines, the organization atmosfair, located in Bonn, priced Tunisair in September 2012 in the "atmosfair airline index" as the most climate- efficient African carrier
