SunExpress HOLIDAYS COMMERCIAL SPECIALIST (m/f/d)

As SunExpress Holidays’ Commercial Specialist you will play a central role in overseeing the day-to-day commercial operations of our new holiday vertical, establishing strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners, and ensuring that our holiday offerings meet and exceed commercial and service targets.
This is a key position in a newly established team and business vertical, that blends commercial acumen with technical expertise.

Main duties

• Take ownership of managing the relationships with our partners, overseeing long-term relationships, ensuring quality control, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Negotiate commercial contracts, SLAs, and manage ongoing partner performance to maximize business outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics, both commercial and service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance profitability.
• Regularly review commercial performance and work closely with stakeholders to refine commercial and marketing strategies and achieve key business objectives to enhance profitability and market share.
• Explore new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and ways to expand the product offering.
• Develop and execute a partner steering framework to ensure service quality and operational excellence.
• Regularly analyze customer feedback and performance data to make data-driven improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that our commercial relationships are managed with the highest standards of professionalism, leading to long-term success for both parties.

Required experience

  • Proven experience in managing long-term partnerships or commercial operations in the travel, airline, or e-commerce industries
  • Strong understanding of dynamic packaging, online travel agencies, and integration with tour operators, especially in the DACH market
  • Expertise in commercial contract negotiation and partnership management.
  • Good understanding of technical integrations between complex systems, including booking systems, CRM, and API integrations.
  • Experience in post-implementation management, focusing on partner relations, service quality, and performance enhancement.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; German and/or Turkish is a plus.
