Since its foundation in 1995, easyJet has grown to become Europe’s leading airline, flying over 319 aircrafts on 1057 routes across 34 countries.
Offering a unique and winning combination of the best route network connecting Europe's primary airports, with great value fares and friendly service, the airline has reached a passenger record of more than 90 million annually - around 15 million of which are travelling on business.
In 2017, the carrier has launched “Worldwide by easyJet”, enabling customers to connect easyJet flights through 11 European airport with easyJet flights and long haul flights by airline partners like Emirates and Cathay Pacific to more than 5,000 unique origins and destinations.
easyJet aims to be a good corporate citizen, employing people on local contracts in eight countries across Europe in full compliance with national laws and recognising their trade unions.
The airline also takes sustainability seriously, investing in a modern 100-percent Airbus fleet (with more than 20 A320neo und 5 Airbus A321neo aircraft) and the latest technology, operating efficiently and filling most of its seats. Since 2000 easyJet has reduced the carbon emissions for each kilometre flow by a passenger by over 32% and is on track to meet its target of a 38% reduction by 2022.
