Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, began its flight operations on 25 October 1985 and has been flying from Germany since 1987. Ever since Emirates has been connecting people and places, stimulating trade relations worldwide and inspires to travel.

Emirates is a privately-owned company that is not protected by the government and has never been subsidized. Emirates Skywards is the award-winning, free frequent flyer program. The freight division Emirates SkyCargo transports export goods from Germany to markets in Middle East, Africa and Asia.
