BARIG Spring Brunch 2021 – a tradition becoming digital this year

BARIG Spring Brunch 2021 – a tradition becoming digital this year

Even though the annual BARIG Spring Brunch could only take place digitally due to COVID-19 this year, numerous airline representatives nonetheless took part to inform themselves about the current situation in the aviation industry and to network with the community. For BARIG it is important to maintain the tradition even in those difficult times and to offer a special platform of communication to its member airlines and business partners.

In cooperation with the long-term partner Hilton Frankfurt Airport, the renowned law office W|S|H|P Rechtsanwälte und Notare, and the new business partner in the section ‘Health Care’ Kröner Medizintechnik, BARIG organized the online event and sent a small information package to their participants in advance, which was used during the meeting.

At the beginning of the event, the participants were given a short excursion into wine and champagne production by the Dr. Gänz wine and sparkling wine estate. During the following get-together, BARIG Secretary General Michael Hoppe informed about current challenges in the aviation industry, plans for the restart of air traffic in 2021, safety standards, and climate protection. Instead of the traditional closing raffle, this time a digital wheel of fortune was spun. The lucky winners were given vouchers and a champagne package.

We would like to thank our partners

Hilton Frankfurt Airport, W|S|H|P Rechtsanwälte und Notare, Kröner Medizintechnik, Wein- und Sektgut Dr. Gänz

for their generous support and hopefully we will be welcoming all participants again next year live and onsite in Frankfurt.
