
New Member in the Tourism Airline Segment: Corendon Airlines Joins Airline Association BARIG

Frankfurt am Main, February 27, 2025. With Corendon Airlines, another international carrier joins the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG). In this way, the airline association, which is representing the interests of airlines operating in Germany, is strengthening its expertise in the field of leisure travel.
“We are delighted to welcome Corendon Airlines, another emerging European leisure airline to our community,” says Michael Hoppe, BARIG Chairman and Executive Director. “We are now also working together with Corendon to tackle the challenges in the German aviation market. International exchange and cooperation are particularly valuable in these times.”
Christian Hein, Head of Sales & Marketing at Corendon Airlines, further mentions: “For Corendon Airlines, Germany is the most important tourism market. However, aviation is currently in a state of transition. The course for the future is being set now, and BARIG is actively involved in many areas. Corendon Airlines serves popular tourist destinations in Turkey, Greece, Spain, Egypt, and Morocco from almost 20 German airports. The airline is based in Antalya and also flies from Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Poland. It is part of the multinational, European Corendon Group, which operates a fleet of 31 Boeing 737-800 and 737-800 MAX model aircraft. In 2025, Corendon Airlines celebrates its 20th anniversary.
