New Cooperation: Leonardo Hotels Joins Airline Association BARIG as Business Partner

• More than 220 Leonardo Hotels throughout Europe, many of them located near airports

Frankfurt am Main, February 10, 2026. The hotel group Leonardo Hotels is now cooperating with the international airline association BARIG (Board of Airline Representatives in Germany). The portfolio of the international hotel chain comprises five brands—Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotels, Leonardo Boutique Hotels, NYX Hotels by Leonardo Hotels, and Leonardo Limited Edition—with over 220 hotels across Europe. Many are located near airports; in Germany, for example, in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Hanover, and Nuremberg.

“We are delighted about the new business partnership with Leonardo Hotels, especially as they are represented not only in Germany but also at many important air traffic hubs throughout Europe,” comments Michael Hoppe, BARIG Chairman and Executive Director. “With this wide-ranging presence, Leonardo Hotels is a remarkable addition to our network.”

“Leonardo Hotels is a longtime partner of the aviation industry and works closely with numerous national and international airlines. The continuous exchange of experience with the industry enables us to refine our products and services specifically to the requirements of crews—for example, through flexible check-in and check-out models, room and hotel amenities, and special menu offerings,” explains Roy Franke, Director of Sales Airline Business, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe. “The partnership with BARIG further strengthens this dialogue and provides an ideal platform for presenting our solutions within the industry.“
